I get a lot of interest in my music, often from folks who know my various bands, but want something special for a wedding, party, or some other event, that is different from my other ensembles. That’s where Free Range Pickin’ comes in. FRP’ can be any number of musicians, and the material can also be varied, though all within the canopy of acoustic picking & singing. The musicians chosen to fill out Free Range Pickin’ are decided by the event, and the direction of the music. I suppose you can call it a grab-bag band, or a potpourri of pickin’.
